Citizen Report of Code Violations

*For complementary foods/foods for infants and young children, check if:

  • the product is marketed or represented as suitable for below 6 months
  • the product includes a statement on the importance of continued breastfeeding for up to two years or beyond and the importance of not introducing complementary feeding before 6 months of age
  • there is any text or image that undermines breastfeeding
  • the product is promoted in healthcare facilities, regardless of age indication
  • the labelling and packaging look similar to breastmilk substitute products (cross-promotion)

(any of the above constitutes a violation of the 2016 WHO Guidance)
