We are recalling a batch of Aptamil Oats, Raisin & Apple Bircher Muesli from Tesco and ASDA UK stores as a precaution. Some packs have been found to contain pieces of apple stalk and apple is one of the ingredients in this muesli product. The following Best Before Dates (BBD) are affected: BBD: 16.01.22 We are re-issuing this recall for this batch from Tesco and ASDA UK stores only. If you have a pack at home with the best before date listed above, please do not feed it to your baby and instead return it to or contact the store where you bought it for a full refund - you don’t need your original receipt to claim the refund. We’re sorry this has happened - nothing is more important to us than the quality and safety of our products. The incident is linked to one batch of dried apple used by our supplier as an ingredient in both products. Following an investigation, we are confident no other batches of this product or any other Aptamil products are affected. We regret that these products do not meet our usual high standards and we have taken action to ensure our supplier maintains full compliance with our strict quality and food safety standards. Parents can speak to us here via Messenger or visit https://www.aptaclub.co.uk/contact-aptaclub.html for more information and advice. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲? If the Best Before Date on the pack is definitely as listed above, please do not feed it to your baby and return to or contact the Tesco or ASDA store where you bought it for a full refund. You don’t need your original receipt and the store will process your refund without it. 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲, 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘂𝘀𝗲? Yes, they are safe to use. No other batches of these products are affected. No other Aptamil products are affected, and your little one can enjoy them as usual. 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀? No other Aptamil products are affected. However, as a precaution Cow & Gate, our sister brand, is recalling some batches of Cow & Gate My First Muesli 10+ months (330g) with best before dates of 20.12.21 and 04.01.22 also due to the possible presence of apple stalks.
